  • Lucky Bamboo China Bistro  5855 Charlotte Pike Nashville, TN, 37209 United States (map)

The coming Chinese New Year is the Year of the Dog starting February 16, 2018. People born in the Year of the Dog possess the best traits of human nature. They are honest, friendly, loyal, smart, straightforward, and have a strong sense of responsibility and Justice. To name a few: Winston Churchill, Mother Teresa, Elvis Presley, and Steven Spielberg are born in the years of dog.

Words of fortune, prosperity, and luck are often used during the Chinese New Year season. We wish everyone a very healthy and lucky year with a bountiful fortune. The first greetings when you meet each other will be “GongXi, GongXi.” GongXi means Congratulations. We congratulate one another on surviving another year.

Welcoming the Chinese New Year of the Dog, Chinese Arts Alliance of Nashville is hosting an exquisite Chinese New Year Ten-Course Banquet. With an exceptional menu that includes cuisine from across of China specially prepared by Mr. Jack, the owner of the Lucky Bamboo.
