The Tennessee Association of Dance recognizes exceptional service to the field of dance through three honorary awards, and offers a professional development to Tennessee's dance professionals. The Dance Advocate Award is bestowed on an individual or corporation noted for generating enthusiasm and interest in the art of dance on a local or state level in Tennessee.Preference is given to those who have supported the Association and/or its member companies.Candidates must be nominated by a member of the TAD Board of Directors.If you would like to recommend someone from your community for nomination contact your regional vice president for assistance.
